Lagoon 38

Description

Lagoon 38 Modern Cruising Catamaran Design

The Lagoon 38 is a modern cruising catamaran designed for comfortable sailing, whether for family trips, relaxed blue-water cruising or charter use. As the successor to the popular Lagoon 380, she introduces a more contemporary design while also offering an optimized hull form. As a result, onboard living feels more spacious, practical and refined.

Moreover, the Lagoon 38 was designed by VPLP, with exterior styling by Patrick le Quément and interiors by Nauta Design. Therefore, she successfully combines performance, functionality and elegant aesthetics in a harmonious way.

Lagoon 38 Dimensions & Smart Layout

At 13.12 m (43 ft) overall with a 6.65 m beam, the Lagoon 38 strikes an excellent balance between manageable size and generous living volume. In other words, she remains easy to handle while still providing impressive interior and exterior space.

Furthermore, the bright saloon connects seamlessly to the cockpit through a wide sliding glass door. Consequently, the yacht offers a true “IN & OUT” living concept that enhances everyday comfort. Whether dining, relaxing or socialising, guests can move freely between spaces. In fact, up to ten people can enjoy the cockpit and saloon area together without feeling crowded.

In addition, the extended transoms and wide access points make boarding safer and more convenient. At the same time, they provide effortless access to the sea for swimming or water activities.

Lagoon 38 Interior Comfort & Cabin Configuration

Below deck, the Lagoon 38 features an ergonomic and highly comfortable interior. Depending on your needs, she is available in flexible 3- or 4-cabin layouts. Therefore, she adapts equally well to private ownership or charter use.

Notably, the cabins are spacious, well-ventilated and filled with natural light. Additionally, ample storage space makes extended cruising practical and stress-free. The owner’s cabin, for example, offers a large forward berth as well as a private en-suite bathroom with a separate shower area. As a result, privacy and comfort are guaranteed throughout longer journeys.

Lagoon 38 Easy Handling & Sailing Performance

Under sail, the Lagoon 38 is designed for simplicity and efficiency. For instance, optional features such as a self-tacking jib make manoeuvring easier, especially for small crews or short-handed sailing. Consequently, even less experienced sailors can handle her with confidence.

Meanwhile, twin engines provide reliable auxiliary power, particularly when docking or navigating tight marinas. In addition, generous tank capacity supports longer cruising itineraries. Ultimately, with offshore certification for both coastal and blue-water sailing, the Lagoon 38 proves to be a versatile and dependable choice for modern sailors.
